Explore two freshwater cenote sessions near Tulum with a small group, equipment, transport, snacks, and expert guidance for certified divers.

“This would have been my 13th dive, open-certified but I failed to meet the expectations of the guide (which is fine) for the caves in Dos Ojos. He was incredibly rude to me, biased against women and I literally couldn’t stand his presence so decided against continuing with the dive, partly to appease him and mostly to relieve myself of his presence—what a backward customer experience! He reiterated over and over again to the group that “we’re adults”, “we’re divers” and can do what we want which made NO sense to me. We were relying on him as a guide and frankly, as a good human, to advise open-water divers…”

Review of Cabo San Lucas private scuba boat trip for four, with two sites, beginner refreshers, Arch views, gear costs, and booking advice.

“The experience was excellent from start to finish. Laura was communicative and responsive with the booking and arranging of hotel to dock transport. Filipe, our dive guide was friendly, educational and knowledgeable. He put my wife at ease (she is not a diver). Both Laura and Filipe went the extra mile by postponing our transport back to the resort after the dive so that we may enjoy lunch at one of their suggested local spots. I will be back to dive with them and highly recommend this private charter.”

Two-tank Cozumel scuba outing with boat transport, local guides, reef wildlife, and practical advice on timing, costs, gear, and cruise schedules.

“We had a great time on this excursion. The location of the dive shop was about a 10 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminal. Everyone was nice and accommodating. We had to reconfigure our dives due to the times (didn’t take into consideration the local time vs ship time) but Alicia at the dive shop helped get us on a boat for our first dive and then on a different boat for the second one. We dove with Nanou and Jolien, both great, calm guides. And the dive locations were awesome, with lots of coral and fish to see and some amazing pass through to swim though.”

“At costa Maya they have a fee for solo travelers. If you need a taxi they charged 10 dollars. I was lucky to find some other travelors for my way out to my dive to share the expense. It was a short drive to a peaceful area to take the scuba dive. After our dive where we saw several lovely things. We walked back from the boat to the shop for a short rest time and had pine apple and lime water. It was wonderful. The second dive we saw two lovely turtles it was the reef called the fingers and was a beautiful dive. Then I caught a taxi…”

Explore MUSA and Manchones reef from Isla Mujeres on a small-group two-tank scuba trip with equipment, snacks, and expert care.

“The MUSA was fun, but the majority of the dive is to get to the statues and back. I would have loved more time looking into more detail instead of the the journey to there and back. I would also advise to let people know that a dive light would be beneficial on this tour so you can really see all the life dwelling. The dive boat was barely a dive boat, but the instructor cared a lot and if anyone works with Ponca dive center, Danni is truly kind and attentive.”

Review of Pro Dive Mexico’s four-session Cozumel package from Playa del Carmen, including reefs, ferry, lunch, costs, safety, and booking tips.

“ProDive is one of the top companies in the district, covering Cancun all the way down to Tulum. Instructors are excited to share their passion of scuba diving with their customers. Sales and admin on the other hand are a whole different matter. After equalization issues and bad weather, we decided to rest for the couple days left of vacation that we had, and when we visited the dive shop for a refund, they became argumentative and combative. 30 minutes of argument later, and the worst Customer Service on the planet, they were adamant to no refund policy. BUYER BEEARE! We have dives across the planet and would never use…”

Review a two-tank cenote scuba tour from Playa del Carmen with small groups, costs, cave conditions, stops, and booking advice.

“The dive spot was more like a cave than a wide open lagoon. It was a bit scary. My dive instructor seemed annoyed each time I would let him know I was afraid. He wasn't the greatest to be with, which did not make the dive very fun.”

“Diving was amazing and the instructor was really patient and focused on my safety. He explained everything in a very clear way and he followed me during all the time. I recommend this activity. I suggest only to check up all the included activities and costs in the description because they asked me an extra cost for the basic level divers, access tax to marine park zone, diving suit. Anyway, I suggest you to ask all the information to the manager. He is very kind and he will reply to you very soon. I really enjoyed this experience!!”
